Disclaimer:

This post focuses on songs that bring positivity and peace into my life. It’s a continuation of my journey, showcasing the lighter side of recovery. If you’re new to recovery or navigating sensitive emotions, take what resonates and leave the rest. Remember, music can be a tool to heal and uplift, and you’re never alone on this path.

After reflecting on the darker songs that once resonated with me, I wanted to share the opposite: the music that lifts me up, inspires gratitude, and fills my space with positivity. These tracks represent the light I’ve found in recovery—a celebration of love, peace, and growth.

1. LOW (feat. James Robinson) by ODYSSY

This song makes me feel like loving on my woman. When I hear it, I want to rub her feet, cook her every meal, and even wash her hair. It’s more than a track—it’s an anthem of care and intimacy. “LOW” reminds me to express love in the simplest, most meaningful ways, and it grounds me in the present moment.

2. Afterain by Gyûki and Ahntow

This track inspires me to create. It fills me with gratitude and positivity, making me want to cleanse my space of any lingering negative energy. “Afterain” feels like a fresh start every time I hear it—a reminder that even after the storm, beauty and renewal await. It’s a soundtrack to peace and mindfulness.

3. Colors by Anaïs Cardot

I discovered Anaïs Cardot during my journey to find peace, and her music takes me back to my childhood. My mom used to give me CDs from different cultures around the world, and “Colors” taps into that nostalgia. Its energy is relaxing and chill, creating a romantic background mood that expands my mind. It’s a beautiful reminder of how music can connect us to our roots while helping us grow.

Conclusion:

These songs represent the calm after the storm, the light that follows darkness. They remind me to cherish the simple moments, express love, and embrace creativity and peace. Recovery isn’t just about leaving chaos behind—it’s about filling your life with things that make it worth living.

What are the songs that inspire your recovery? Share them, and let’s keep building a playlist of hope and positivity.
