🌶🔥 FTF Proof Hot Sauce Chicken Dinner

This recipe is all about balance:


  • Sticky hot sauce chicken thighs (bold, smoky, tangy).

  • Garlic basil jasmine rice (fresh, fragrant, mellow).

  • Roasted broccoli (crispy, clean, green).



It’s simple enough for a weeknight, strong enough to carry the FTF stamp.





🍗 Hot Sauce Chicken Thighs (Family Pack Style)



Marinade (inside flavor):


  • 1/2 cup Tapatío

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 tbsp minced garlic

  • 2 tsp woodfire garlic powder

  • 2 tsp paprika

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • Salt + black pepper



Glaze (outside flavor):


  • 2/3 cup Valentina (1/3 cup x2)

  • 4 tbsp sugar

  • 2 tbsp minced garlic

  • 2 tsp woodfire garlic powder

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • 1 tsp onion powder (optional)

  • 1 tbsp melted butter (optional, for glossy finish)



Method:


  1. Pat chicken thighs dry. Season with salt, pepper, onion powder.

  2. Toss in marinade, rest 30 min–overnight.

  3. Bake at 400°F, skin side up, for 30 minutes.

  4. Brush with glaze, bake another 15–20 minutes, recoating every 5 min.

  5. Optional: broil 2–3 min for crispy-sticky skin.

  6. Rest 5 min before serving.




🍚 Garlic Basil Jasmine Rice (Balanced Side)



Ingredients:


  • 2 cups jasmine rice (rinsed)

  • 3 1/2 cups water or chicken broth

  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter

  • 1 tbsp minced garlic

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp woodfire garlic powder

  • Salt, to taste

  • Fresh basil



Method:


  1. Heat oil/butter in pot, sauté garlic 30 sec.

  2. Stir in rice + seasonings.

  3. Add water/broth + salt, bring to boil.

  4. Cover, simmer 15 min on low.

  5. Rest 10 min, fluff, fold in basil.




🥦 Roasted Garlic Basil Broccoli



Ingredients:


  • 4 cups broccoli florets

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp woodfire garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

  • Salt + black pepper

  • Fresh basil



Method:


  1. Toss broccoli with oil + seasonings.

  2. Roast at 400°F for 15–18 minutes.

  3. Toss with basil after roasting.
